Today we had a spontaneous Tour stop at the County Line BBQ (on the Lake). (If you click through to the previous link hit the refresh button to make sure the video plays.) It was 1:15pm and we had already planned on a late lunch. The timing was perfect since we just missed the lunch crowd and the boys were hungry! As soon as the truck doors opened the aroma from the parking lot hit you square in the nose. B's first comment was, "This is going to be great!"
Great kids menu (includes crayons) and T actually dove into some smoked turkey today! YEEHAW! (The ultimate goal of the BBQ Tour is to get some brisket in him before school starts).
The County Line on the Lake location is on Bull Creek just off of Lake Austin and accomodates boat traffic...and youngsters wanting to feed the turtles, ducks, and other critters around the dock. All in all we had great service, a great experience (Fire alarm didn't go off when B went out the emergency exit), and some great BBQ!
